Located in the city of Evanston in Illinois, the Welsh-Ryan Arena is a mid-sized multi-purpose arena situated on the campus of the Northwestern University. It is located inside the on-campus McGaw Memorial Hall, in the northern end of the campus. With 8,117 seats, the Welsh-Ryan Arena provides a comfortable atmosphere in the enclosed arena.
The Welsh-Ryan Arena is home to the four Northwestern Wildcats athletic teams: men’s and women’s basketball, women’s volleyball, and the wrestling team.
Although the arena has been renovated multiple times, there are plans to give it a huge upgrade by 2018.
