The Monroe Civic Center is a mid-sized multi-purpose sports and entertainment venue located in the city of Monroe in Louisiana. The venue is located on the Expressway and provides easy access to and from the center. Built in 1965, the venue has plenty of history and character and has been refurbished over the years.
The Monroe Civic Center was the home of the Monroe Moccasins ice hockey team and the Louisiana Bayou Beat indoor football team, however the venue no longer serves as the home venue for the teams.
With multiple facilities, there are plenty of tickets available to a wide variety of events held at the Monroe Civic Center. The center has a large arena with a seating capacity of 7,200, a conference hall, a convention center, and a theater with 2,000 seats. There is also an equestrian pavilion on-site.
