Independence Stadium Tickets

Located in the downtown area of Shreveport, Louisiana, the Independence Stadium (formerly known as the State Fair Stadium) is a large sized multipurpose stadium owned and operated by the city of Shreveport. It is an open-air stadium that has been recently renovated in 2014.

With 49,565 seats, the Independence Stadium plays host to many different events including football games, soccer matches, social events, and concerts. It also hosts many high school sports games and events due to lack of on-campus facilities at many local schools.

The Independence Stadium is aptly named as it plays hosts to the annual Independence Bowl, a post-season college football game.

The Independence Stadium is currently the home field to the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs football team. It currently hosts the NCAA Red River State Fair Classic as well.
