Hinkle Fieldhouse is an indoor basketball arena located in the city of Indianapolis, Indiana. The field house is owned and operated by Butler University and is located on the campus of the university.
Built in 1923, the Hinkle Fieldhouse has plenty of history and character. It was once the largest basketball arena in the U.S. Today, the arena has 9,100 seats to accommodate fans and visitors.
The field house is nicknamed “Indiana’s Basketball Cathedral”, due to its history and charm.
The Hinkle Fieldhouse is the current home of the Butler Bulldogs.
