The Hanover Theatre is a venue for the Performing Arts located in Worcester, Massachusetts. It was originally built in 1904 as the Franklin Square Theatre, which regularly scheduled burlesque shows, Broadway touring shows and headline acts. The venue transitioned to showing silent films by 1912 when vaudeville magnate Sylvester Poli purchased the theatre from the estate of Pauline L. Taylor.
These days, the historical Hanover Theatre frequently shows theatrical productions, musicals, and Broadway shows. It occasionally hosts concerts and comedy shows.
