Old Byrd Stadium, simply known as Byrd Stadium or Byrd Field, was an outdoor stadium located on the campus of the University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland. It was also known to locals and students as “The Byrd Cage”. Old Byrd Stadium was the home to the Maryland Terrapins, however the field has since been demolished. The Capital One Field at Maryland Stadium (formerly called Byrd Stadium) is a large outdoor athletic stadium located near the site of the Old Byrd Stadium.

The Capital One Field at Maryland Stadium is home to the Maryland Terrapins football and lacrosse teams of the university and NCAA.

The Capital One Field at Maryland Stadium also hosts concerts and other large exciting social events.
