The Belasco Theatre is a mid-sized and historical theatre located in midtown Manhattan, New York City, New York. Opened in 1907 as a Broadway theatre, the Belasco Theatre was originally known as the Stuyvesant Theatre. It was built by architect George Keister for the theatrical producer David Belasco. It is said that David Belasco’s ghost haunts the theatre each night.
With 1,016 seats, the Belasco Theatre is one of the bigger Broadway theatres located in Manhattan, New York City.
In 2016, it was the home of Blackbird and in 2017 it is the home of The Glass Menagerie. Always playing incredible, dramatic shows, the Belasco Theatre draws in crowds from across the country.
