The Bardavon Opera House is a historical live performance venue located in the downtown core of Poughkeepsie in the state of New York. Built in 1869, the Bardavon Opera House is one of the oldest buildings in the state. The venue is unique, where it once featured a two-stage dome.

The Bardavon Opera House originally served as a venue for performance art shows, community meetings, and celebrations until the mid 1920’s.

Today, the Bardavon Opera House hosts many talented live performances including theatrical productions, operas, plays, musicals, concerts, comedy shows, symphony orchestras, dance shows, and many other live performances.
